Quote by shiningdaysthis might be a
bad thing but i feel as if your character sticks out too much against the
background; it might be because she's outlined and the rest of the wall isn't?
that said, you roxxor me at the tablet-ing, and i love the perspective you
create with the railings there (the buildings on the left seem a bit
off-perspective in relation though?)
the hand is badass; and there's tons of emotion in the character. it's cool, and
in this/your other stuff you use a variety of color palettes which i like.
very cool.
Thank you very much for your useful feedback.
A friend of mine already told me about the hand sticking out too much. I see
that problem too but somehow i did not want to erase the outlines because the
anime-manga-like character would lose its impact.
The building on the left actually is not out of perspective but has a slightly
different vanishing point to make the picture look less static.
I am also glad that you like my color palette. Someone complaind once that my
pictures are not saturated enough with color.
I WANT YOU TO MAKE A WALL FOR THE P-O-R CONTEST

I kind of have no place to reply to you on IN so I'll just continue spamming
your gb here
Yes I did vector with mine tablet in Illus. Used the pencil tool instead of the
pen, so it was just like drawing over the scan. Exported the lineart in PS and
painted the inside, drew the bg with tablet again. nothing ninja there
I'm cool like that
Quote by shiningdaysi was totally
thinking about buying just Hiroki Mafuku's artbook (there's a store that sells
it around here, i forget the name of it but this was on the cover )
after seeing more of her art, i'm very, very tempted
actually Hiroki Mafuyu
is a he.
is the artbook in question entitled "Etiquette In Violence"? i highly
recommend you purchase the art-book and by chance do you mind me asking what
store you have seen it in?

au revoir

ah i see. Sakura Media [online] seems pricey. actually i would snatch up a copy
of "Hiten" at that price. i think the Mafuyu art-book is somewhat
pricey because it is borderline rare.
if i was to recommend one Amano-sama art-book to you it would be
"Kiten". Kiten contains both Miten / Hiten art as well as other
works.
Hi, Shiningdays. Thank you for commentig my first work. Thanks for your
remarks. I'm glad to be subjected to criticism by professionals. Happy New Year!

highlight brigade, i see another chubbykitty wall!
hehehe, christmas in vancouver is supposed to be rainy, and being from vancouver
i love the rain, so i love this wall
abstract but quite pleasing indeed.
LOL Thanks for the comment and fav shining! Hope ya have a great Christmas!
Quote by shiningdayscandy, i was
thinking of doing something more along the lines of an ink
painting/watercolours. is that acceptable? (i'm making th egoddamn wall either
way, i just wanna know if i can whore myself out for a contest or not )
sure, you choose how you paint. Allthough you have to feature something that
explicitely shows that it's feudal/classical era. If you manage the blend a scan
it's awesome. But I guess a building or some shinto shrine could be ok.
Quote by shiningdaysit's been a while
since you did anything!
or it feels like it, anywho. maybe it's just me, i haven't done anything in
months either
gorgeous wall, good job
What about you?! Where are the Shiningdays wallies we all love?
Thanks a bunch for the comment!

it's a bright new group just waiting for you to join! So we can share
ressources, tuts, scans and walls and artworks and have fun :3
I figured, theres groups like vectorness and simple-ism that are doing great, so
why not one for teh painters? :3
Quote by shiningdaysI've seen this
one Chu Shen Fen image used a hundred times over, but i quite like this. the
vectoring on her face feels a little hard (the black outlines do nothing for her
lips or nose, and, considering the rest of the vector doesn't use black outlines
it looks out of place) but like the box & the flower/leave motifs in it the
main vector needs just slight work to make this a really amazing piece, but good
job!
i've modified the face a bit so it doesn't look that much out of place if you
want to go see
i'm glad you liked my flower power wallpaper
thanks a lot for the comment!
have a nice day!
Thanks for your comment!
actually I did sleep well. I slept like I haven't in ages. Woke up half an hour earlier than I should and everything. :]
did you get your homework done?
